Pocket Communications believes this generation of young people is the next movers and shakers of the world. Our community focus is on our future leaders and the arts. We ask your support in this powerful community event that will offer the opportunity for young and talented students to win scholarship prizes totaling $25,000.

Pocket Communications is proud to present Pocket’s Next Big Star, a talent contest for young singers between the ages of 11 and 18. This exciting event will occur in three phases. Initial screenings/competitions will be held at local shopping malls in each community in January 2008. A group of semi-finalists will be selected to compete in a second round to be judged at a special venue in their community in February or March 2008. Winners of the semi-finals will then compete at Pocket’s Next Big Star Finals Event to be held in San Antonio at Sunset Station’s Lonestar Pavilion on May 4, 2008.
